Draft per vendor
The purchase order comes off the reorder list with the landed price already chosen, freight included, so a lower unit price with a second freight charge under it does not win by accident.

Place it
Placed is a date, not a state of mind.

Wait for accepted
Until the vendor accepts, nothing about the order is settled. This step is the reason the lesson exists.

Shipped, delivered, and the two that are not
Cancelled and returned sit on the same rail, because they are part of the same story.

Read it against the week
What is arriving is read against the schedule, so a late box is a clinical problem before it is a logistics one.
